I use my truck primarily for my daily commute and weekend trips. No off road capability usually needed. Thus the 2WD SR5. However, I have some family land that I would like to ride around a lot during hunting season. Mostly pasture land, a couple shallow but sandy fords, and narrow, curvy gravel and dirt roads. No stones. Nothing too steep. Just Mississippi wild. (Nighttime and daytime.)

Are there any good options to protect and accessorize my truck for these trips? Just got my new truck a week ago. Love the paint job. Ideally I'd like to protect the front bumper from briar and tree limb scratches, and I'd like to have some bad ass lighting options at night, too. THEN when the weekend is over, I'd like to be able to take everything off, wash the car, and go back to "suburban dad" mode. As cool as it looks, I don't want to permanently use a brush guard or bull bar that might jack up my frame in the event of an accident.

So I guess the best thing for me to do would be to find the lightest weight brush guard and light bar I can find? Plus a come along since I'm 2WD? I'm clueless. In the end I want to be able to safely play around like a Taco ad on the land for two days at a time then go back to normal as easily as possible.

I'll be the first to admit that this is not really limited to 3rd Gen, but none of the other forums seemed a perfect place for this question, either. The Armor and Off Road forums probably wouldn't respect the question. There's no forum called Wussy Armor or Barely Off Road.

I also asked over in the armor section. I was looking for some pre made magnetic vinyl, which I've seen for jeeps. Only got one answer and that was to call a sign shop and get a roll and cut it yourself. I haven't ordered yet but found one place where I can get black magnetic vinyl which would look good with my quicksand. Gonna probably order soon and make some.

You are correct that the headlight upgrade thread as written is for H4s which are not used by the 3rd gens.

However the H11 bulbs are used in the 3rd gen headlights and in the 3rd gen TRD 'wide angle' fogs. Both the headlights and fogs can be upgraded with instructions the foglight writeup. However to have upgraded highs and lows for the headlights (vs just low beams), you would need a different harness than listed in the foglight writeup as that harness only supports one bulb. You would need one that supports the H11s for low beam and H9s for high beam, which can easily be made by the company listed.
