    Hey Everyone,

I have a question for anyone with a light bar on their truck. I live in PA and they are saying the way I have my light bar wired is illegal. They want me to get a lighted switch. As well as I need to tie in the wiring to my head and fog lights so that way the bar can only be turned on when the lights are on. Anyone with any advice on the best way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Nothing fancy, yet. Weathertech mats front/back + their mud guards, some reflective striping and custom carpets on the storage bin lids underneath the jump seats.
Lighted switches are easy to find on eBay, at your local 4X4 shop, auto parts store, etc...
As for how to wire the LEDs for when they only work when the lights are on, here's one way.
Get a 30A fog light relay ($5-$7?). Connect your lights to it as shown below (substitute the LED bar for the yellow fog lamps) using
(+) for the relay only from a headlight lead. Your choice. Do you want the accessory lights on with the low or high beams?
That juice will only be used to fire the tiny coil inside the relay, so it won't be a burden on the headlight circuit itself.
The main power to the LED lights is coming from the battery (with an appropriate fuse in line).
The lighted switch is grounded via a separate ground wire from the LED ground and will illuminate when the LEDs are on and be dark otherwise.
I have a set of KC Flex LEDs on my Yamaha wired using a high beam connection this way and they are great.
With the high beams on, I can flip the added switch and get the LEDs going. If a car approaches, I can dip the headlights normally
and kill the LEDs at the same time without having to reach up for the KC light switch itself.
    Hope this helps!

    Like this a lot!
Couldn't do this on my motorcycle due to the size/location of the fuse box. On the truck, that'd be great!
Is the free lead from the blue fuse holder in the diagram connected to the battery directly or another 12V source in the fuse panel?

There are a few male tabs free in the engine room fuse box which can be used...
