What shocks, other 'bits' to improve handling, ride?

Got a 2016 TRD Sport 4WD MT, and am pretty pleased with it.
I don't "do" off-roading, per se, though some of the roads I travel are washboardy and a few a strewn with potholes. I don't want to raise the truck.

But...I would like to improve the general handling and quality of ride. I'm wondering if different shocks and some other pieces and parts might help me achieve my goal. I don't expect to turn the truck into a Porsche, but I think the cornering ability and ride might be improvable.

I've got the standard issue tires: Toyo Open Country A31, P265/65 R17

    Comments, suggestions?

    Thanks

TRD Bilstein shocks in the rear will help a lot. Those blue rear shocks will be toast after 30K miles.
