Modders and Glitchers have ruined GTAV (still)

I haven't played GTAV in a while but I got bored of Fallout, started binge watching whatever was good on HBOGO, and decided to pick up GTA again, and see what cool stuff was out (the Sultan RS is really cool btw, meh for the new apartments since I spend 1% of my time in them anyways).

Well, nothing has changed, modders and god mode fags are everywhere.

That shit is annoying. They release a crappy patch and then people start finding other glitches inside buildings, and then them and their butt buddies set bounties on each other and camp. I'm sure they're really getting lots of enjoyment out of the game circle jerking each other inside of a glitched building while no one bothers going near them except for the occasional noob. I try to troll these guys. I go back to my garage and get on the Weazel news and watch their gameplay to figure out where they're sticking their gun out of the building to shoot at all the cops swarming in on them (because of course they're bored and have nothing better to do than sit in a building and try to get 5 stars). Then grab my Savage and cannon the shit out of the area before they homing missile my shit out of the sky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's especially satisfying when it does. Sometimes it doesn't but I troll them anyways and they get butthurt and set a bounty on me. I really would love it if these losers would just play the game normally and not try to cheat, but they suck so I feel bad for them (not really).

Don't get me started on this idiots that are in God mode, or have the ability to pop up or disappear from the map whenever they please. I see some fool murking everyone and he has a bounty and think, "I'll get my buzzard and do a quick strafe run, collect the bounty and be on my way". Then I get there and he's just running around... I shoot a missile square at him, direct hit. But oh, nothing happens. So I land on a building on hop out and try to pop some shots off at him. Nothing happens. Then I think, "alright, this dude is in god mode, whatever". But I always end up watching this moron on the map, making sure we never cross paths unless there's a good opportunity for me to continue confirming that yep, this guy is still cheating, without it resulting in my own death.

And of course reporting the player does nothing, because he has a level higher than 500. Of course.

And then there's the kids that host missions but are just AFK the whole time and forget to set the mission to hard. Why RP farm? What is the point? There literally is no point.

It's a fun game otherwise, I mean it's safe to say I've gotten my $60 worth, but since 80% of the lobbies I end up in have modders, it really ruins it. And for some reason in the 3 years that GTAV online has existed, Rockstar has little care to do anything about it, because "it's GTA, bruh" and it's a game that attracts doucebags.

Which reminds me, I have the chat set to "no-one" at all times. Any accidental click over to "everyone" (even if you just want to see if some kid got mad that you collected his bounty even though he was in a glitched building) leaves it on this setting until you leave the lobby, even if you set it back to "no-one", you still end up hearing a mouth-breather or some people talking shit to each other for literally no reason.

TL;DR modders and glitchers are the worst people on the face of Los Santos

 

I haven't played GTA-V online in a while but I remember I tried a couple times and ran out of bullets and didn't have enough money to buy more so I always ended up getting killed quickly, lol.
