Hello all I'm new to site and just bought me a 1997 toyota tacoma 2.7 4x4 sitting on stock 31s had a knock at 2900 rpms so tore down the motor n found that the number 4 rod bearing was toast , so doing a bottom end rebuild, paid 3200 for it in California, which isn't that bad considering parts was only 500 , had crank turned , so now in the process of putting back together
So any tips on these 2.7 motors
Any tricks to getting the most out of my truck with gas milage , etc
