Reverse wire 2000 tacoma

    Sure this has been posted before but havnt had no luck finding it. Installed a back up camera and trying to find a reverse wire that i can tap in to close to the radio any body point me in the right direction

    Why not just tap in to one of the reverse-light wires at the rear? Thats what I did.

    That's how I power the camera but I need a trigger wire for the touch screen and don't want to run a wire all the way back of the truck I have to manually switch over to the camera Channel

    Gotcha. I think I ran the long wire.
    I didn't want to mess with the wiring harness coming off the tranny.
