TACOMA 2016 "What Did You Pay?" Thread

Take a look at my quote a couple threads up I attached a pdf of what I will pay. $39000 sounds high. Will it be a 2017?

 

depends on if it's long bed, the tech package, JBL, and what your fees are (tax, title, and license).
I paid a little more all in with TTL and with all of the options I mentioned

 

Saw the pdf: the quote included include all fees and taxes which is about 2000 here in tx. It's a 2016. Seems about right based on ur quote

 

It's a short bed with tech package. Upgraded wheels and tires for free since I had ordered an sr5 Tss edition Includes tax title and misc fees

 

Sounds good...I was wondering if mine was high as well, I went in preapproved from my bank and they did not try and make me pay more. Very hassle free purchase.

 

$599 it uses the factory remote but the install is outsourced. I have an appointment at 8 tomorrow morning so I'll know more details then.

Has Towing, heated seats, and Leather as far as I can tell that's it.

It's used with 6,700 miles maybe 6,8-900 by the time I pick up and receive.

Have been discussing and I'm looking at $30,000 is what the guys asking.
I asked if he was willing to negotiate to which he replied what's your best offer.
So I offered $28,000

Deal, Steal, good deal or what. Should I hold off for now.

Truck is clean and will be thoroughly going through the truck and in possession for 2 days before the money is finalized through consignment.

Be careful with this truck.I think it may be a scam.I messaged this guy last month on this truck and it seemed very fishy to me...Listing said location was in Ala. Then was msg that truck was in Tx. and owner was in the U.K..

 

Thanks, can you post what the brand is? I would like remote start, but do not want to add another remote. If I could add it using the factory clicker that would be optimal.

 

That is unlikely to be Texas. This winter was mild so there would be no need for a heater in the garage like that.

 

Be aware that those heated seats didn't come with the truck either. They must have been added later. It clearly doesn't have premium/tech package, which is what heated seats come with.

 

I bought a 16 GMG TRD 4x4 long bed with the JBL tech and tow package and 7 year coverage. All in all it came out to 49k! :/

Yes....cali tax was almost 5k and the added warranty for 7 years was 2400. I got all the bells and whistles, dumb paint protection, alarm, heated seats, blind spot monitoring, jbl pck, tow pck, bed extender, 3M wrap. Over paid huh?

 

So if I order the truck I want and put down the deposit then when it ships from factory refuse to pay anything over invoice plus TT&L out the door does the dealer have any traction to go against me?

 

not sure if you over paid for what you got or not. You are stuck with the ridiculous sales tax unless you move. You got a bunch of stuff that I either refuse to pay for or have no need for.

Invoice was IIRC $29 and some change. In East County San Diego @ Toyota of El Cajon.

Nice thing also I got a coupon for $100 off the OEM Cargo Divider and just ordered that for $205 after savings.

I think I got a decent deal, lot cheaper that I actually expected since when shopping the older used Tacoma's I was seeing $29K for a 5 year old.

Edit: Oh and I bought and drove it home that day.

 

Correct, this was added aftermarket.Looks to be Katzkin which I feel are good quality..

 

I'm looking to buy virtually the same thing tomorrow. Does everyone agree that this is a decent deal? I'm buying in / around Orange County, SoCal.
