    Hi there,

    Asking the experts here.

Just installed new Depo lights yesterday and everything went well, very simple plug and play, everything tested out fine. I noticed however today on my driver side light, when stopped (brakes applied) will blink fast. When moving, say changing lanes, blinks normally. Passenger side is fine both ways.

Is this just a simple fix; a wire touching from the install or something simple.

    Thanks much
    Chris

Going to sound off but your post reminded me of an issue I ran into with a Lancer. I replaced the front headlights with DEPO since the OE were oxidized to hell and back. I added LED turns and noticed they hyperblinked. The same LEDs in the OE housings did NOT hyperblink. So I was trying to figure out why the DEPO housings would cause hyperblink. Not that you mentioned LEDs just the hyperblink issue caught my eye.

Anyway, just wanted to put that out there. I think we ended up switching to TYC housings and that eliminated the issue.

Truck looks great, +1 whitewalls out!

Thanks Area51, appreciate the response and the compliment.

I'll take it out and see whats up; might be something simple. I've never seen a hyperblink with JUST a brake motion while the signal stalk is engaged. It's always been constant if I had one on another vehicle.

    Thanks again
