Yup that was me. No apologies necessary. I absolutely love this area and the history of the old mining area which has recently been in the news for run-off at the Perigo mine site. I ran some version of pickle with some heeps from trailsoffroad, but not what's in the FunTreks book, which is what I want to pin down this weekend.

I will def be hitting Kingston if it's open...its been the talk of the "town" for 3 weeks.

I did Kingston Peak last year and really enjoyed it. I would be interested in going if the wife doesnt have anything randomly planned for me already.

Sounds like we've got run forming on Saturday July 16th! (@ashrr213)

You guys pick the time, since you're coming from other parts of CO and I'm camping on the trail.

I suggest we meet at the Stage Stop in Rollinsville which opens @ 9am for breakfast just north of the trailheads to Gamble Gulch and Moon Gulch, or we can meet @ the Shell Station on HWY119 north of Black Hawk / Central City. The shell station is on the way to the stage stop if you're headed north from Black Hawk @ 14936 Highway 119, Black Hawk, Colorado. Also a good place to stop on the way home if you want to clean up as there is free air and a car wash just up the street.

The trails I want to run are Moon Gulch, and Pickle Gulch. Last time I mapped these trails it took me about 2.5 hours to map Moon and 1 hour to map Pickle. Depending on which route you guys want to take, there's creek crossings, ghost towns, mines, and some pretty cool views.

    WHOS GOING:
    1. @Littles
    2. @SliMbo4.0 (+1 FJ)
    3. @Lifeofbrian

Count me in, meeting at 9am at the Stage stop works for me. is that going to be the place and time we are agreeing on? Also, just want to mention again that If anyone can assist with tuning my cb i would greatly appreciate it.

    :)

Let's plan to meet at 9:30am and leave the Stage Stop in Rollinsville at 10am for the trailhead.

Just fyi... Jones Pass is still snowed closed and i would doubt it'll open this year unless they plow it and blast some snow. 20-30ft drift across the east side of the pass.

It was treacherous just trying to hike across the snow, i ended up taking two slides to the bottom... Holy fuck you slide fast at that angle.

Alright, we need to move this to Sat 7/30.

List your name plus anyone in attendance if you'd like to attend.

Reference items needed: some mentioned additional shade canopies and chairs.

    Where: CopperKettle Brewery
    When: Saturday 7/30
    Time: 1PM - ?

    Attending / items bringing:

    Sean +1 (maybe)
Will (canopy and a couple chairs)
BigRedToy - I can do it solo, or with a +1 after 2:30p. (maybe a little too much information)
    (Tentative) Wes + 1
    ashrr213 + bahahaha
    (Tentative) BDN - Commitment issues
    3378Jakesr5 +1 possibly
    303tacoma (that's the plan)
(Tentative) Stu488 (depending on what time)
Tacoma SS + 1 because they live there anyway
    TimF
Ag63i2 +1 added back even though Stalker doesn't think he should exist.
    Husky Driver +1
alee891 +1.5 (lady friend and my son will be there for a bit)
Impulse05Taco - Not until evening, will bring own chair
    Gramps +1 Tentative
NYCO +1 not 100%, but i do like beer so there's a good chance...
    Aero3685
COMiamiFan (Tundras.com) +4 and will bring a canopy
