It does to spiders. Spiders love vent visors so they can get in your truck and build webs.

AZ heat is different than Louisiana. We have good ole Humidity and if you don't leave a crack in your window it gets very sticky and muggy in your vehicle. I have been to AZ, southern Cali, and even a few stays in the Iraqi and Afghanistan deserts. LA is completely different.

Totally agree with this. We stayed in Houston for a week and when we came back to the SoCal 90 degree dry weather it felt so good to be back home.

85 with 100% humidity... no thanks.

They do cut down on wind noise quite a bit with the windows partially open at higher speeds, and allow you to leave the windows open a little for circulation when it's possible/likely to rain without getting water inside the cab.

The pop-in ones actually look pretty much like they came from the factory, I personally don't get/like the look of the glue-on ones, which look like a glued on afterthought and probably hurt the aerodynamics more than the aesthetics (not that I bought the truck for aerodynamics).
