I bought my Taco new in '99.
Running at 330,000 orig miles and never had to replace the upper/lower ball joints or
front wheel bearings(just recently did the right front WB though)

Has a slight 2-3" front lift in front via springs and spacers from '99 when thats all there was as an option. And OME rear spring packs. It's a work DD and snow buggy for many ski days.

My question is, should I replace all the ball joints ? I've seen pix of wheel/tire broken and under the frame with "bad" damage and don't want that, lol.

There are no issues presently and not sure if there are warning sounds like when a bearing goes or they just fail and you're SOL.

    TIA

With that high mileage you are running on hopes and dreams. I would replace them. "Preventative maintenance "

You can check the balljoints for play to determine if they need to be replaced. They usually don't fail without developing some slop, but it's never bad to replace stuff like that for peace of mind.

Just make sure to go with Toyota OEM if you replace the balljoints

    Thanks for the replies.

That's the thing, there's just the normal play when I check.
I guess you can't put a price on peace of mind and I for sure got my monies worth so far.

OEM parts for sure too when I replace.
