Tire size

I am looking to get some wheels for my truck this year here real soon and I am not sure to go with 18 or 20. I am wantign to run some ta type tires would love to go with 33 or so but dotn want to lose toomuch gas mileage. What tire size can I run with 20 and not rub, im not going to lift it right now, maybe later. The truck is my daily and want to keep my gas mileage as it is for now.

The biggest you would be able to run without a lift for 18's is 265/65/18, and for 20's is 265/55/20. These are 32" tires (well, 31.5 but who's counting?).

Don't worry about gas if you want bigger tires. your mpg will go down. Make a decision if you want to mod your truck or keep it the way it is. If you need good mpg buy a beater car for running the distance. Just some true advice for you.

 

Thanks guys for the advice, I def want a new wheel not big on the stock ones never have been on anything stock. More and more I look I might just go up to an 18 the 265/65/18 looks about what i wont. And as far as a daily im workign on that, I am trying to sell my show car and buy me a cheap daily to drive to work and back and have my truck for my own pleasure.
