I was referring to the OPT7 LED bulbs I returned. The 2Strokes are definitely brighter. Not sure about the HIDs though.

The hids are rated at about 3800 lumens per bulb at 50 wats and the 2 strokes are rated at 5000 lumens, so my guess is thst they are brighter. When I put one in to compare it to the hid, it looks like the hid is brighter. We shall see when it gets dark!

It think the TRS website said the 2stroke LED is about 80% the output of the HIDs but the LEDs are just plug and play. Turning some people on to them. I have never have the HIDs installed so I can't make the comparison.

Hid bulbs are rated at 5000 lumens:
    Screenshot_20160715-220440.jpg

HIDs are 3400 lumen at 35w and then add another 20% for 50w which brings 3400+680(20%)=4080 lumens total, i have the 5500k hid bulbs:

So I got mine installed last night and overall I'm very pleased. Its a big improvement over stock but not quite the brightness of HID's and I knew that before ordering. If anyone is on the fence, I'd say go buy a set!

So I got mine installed yesterday and once it got dark I took a ride and it's not what I expected it to be. In lumens the leds are supposed to be brighter than the HIDs but it seemed like the leds weren't as bright as the HIDs. I got some pretty good comparison shots I'll post them. One thing that was a improved with the leds is my bulbs no longer shake when I go over bumps tho!

The 2 Stroke leds are the top picture and the bottom is the HB55 HIDs in 50w:

The HID seems to have a large amount of center hotspot in the foreground. The LED seems like a smoother distribution of light, albeit, not as dramatic as the HID. Still seems like a good solution over HID and the odd capsule behaviors.

It also seems like in certain angles, 2strokes seem wider

I love the HIDs but I'll probably just keep these in cause there is no warm up time like i was saying and they do have a consistent beam!

The vleds have a bigger fan cooling housing it the back of the bulb and I'm pretty sure they won't fit in the low beam location because of the fender. I'll check and see if it's possible Josh!!

Well I'll upload a few pics of the LMZ high beams paired with my HID's and then i can throw the 2 stroke's into the high beams and do a comparison for you!

If you want to see them in person before ordering, mine should be in hand by tomorrow evening.

I believe they haven't released a dual 9003 bulb for a low and a high in a single bulb yet!
