When to start your kids at school?

My daughter just turned 4 and I know school will be starting soon, but WHEN? She is MORE then ready to start tomorrow!

When did you start your kids in school?

 

my son is 4.5, we sent him to a pre-k this year, and we actually sent him at 3 to a preschool for a couple days a week, great for socializing, and a nice break for us.

 

8:30 am

 

start Wednesday at 8:00

 

My parents started me in pre-school when I was about 2.5

 

Do it early. I am about the youngest in my class, and it is kinda nice. Only bad part was I am late to drive. My parents said I was ready and now I do pretty well in school. top 10% of my class.

My next class is at 510 tmrw night....And CJ doesn't go to school for a few more years.

 

I waited til my daughter was going to be 6 before first grade. This way she is more mature and always at the top of her class, academically as well as socially. Starting early has more social impacts than you realize.

my brother is 4. parents just started sending him to pre school. so far hes doing fine.

 

kids are so crazy these days...i think i would homeschool if i had kids if i could...not sure...lol
