Hey guys first post and tacoma owner for 2 1/2yrs.
Recently I had my support bearing changed aka hanger bearing? And the u joint next to it. This morning it started making a high pitch squealing noise. Was wondering is that's related to the bearing change? And if so is the part defective? I also looked up that it might be a dust shield? Is it okay to drive? As I'm out of town. Any answers would be great! Thanks!

I deal with this every time I get in the front to change something. It's probably the dust shield contacting the rotor. If you already have your wheels back on you can take a long screwdriver or something and push the dust shield back. There should be a good bit sticking out from behind the rotor to push onto.

It's definitely not the dust shield contacting the rotors, I thought there was a dust shield for the hanger bearing maybe I'm wrong. But found out the u joint is the culprit and I'm changing it asap

Glad you found the issue. Sorry I couldn't help.
