    Hi,

I have been reading around on this forum about the oem roof racks having gaps in the front after installing them. I was wondering if this was the case for everyone. I was also wondering if someone could check their roof rack installed from factory to see if the contour is perfect or if there is a gap as well.

I think the roof rack adds a nice look to the tacoma and some extra functionality but its not worth having potential problems down the line from a part not cut right.

here is one of the related threads mentioning this:

    PS I have a double cab 2016 tacoma sr5

I put one on my 2016 and I don't have any issues with it. Installation was pretty easy and it appears to fit well. No wind noise and no noticeable decrease in MPG. Just get one and put it on. Don't over think it.
