with or without the light bar?

 

I got hit today by a lady who was unable to make the obviously to tight of a turn in a crew cab F-350 long bed. My home built HC rear was barely scratched and her truck had a gouge in it.

 

Absolutely need this to happen.

 

I picked my Taco up from the dealership were it had been since Tuesday. I missed it dearly because they gave me a RAV4 as a loaner the second time I dropped it off. Here's hoping the A/C system holds a charge longer than a year now!

 

I'm still waiting to pick up my truck the dealership has had it for almost 2 week getting my new frame.

 

With all the posts of seized LCA bolts, sway bar bolts and everything else I'm thinking about pulling the front end apart and putting anti-seize on every bolt I can find.

 

Installed RSI led's today Matches my light bar.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, but I see it says you live in Vegas. Unless you have a lot of salt or you are constantly in water it shouldn't be too much of an issue for you.

 

Installed some 5100 and had the 885's powder coated red

 

Ongoing with the red theme, I added some decals to the front hood scoop and grill, OR tow hook and rear shackle

 

Installed a carrier bearing drop after measuring the difference in driveshaft angles. Brought them within a few tenths of a degree of each other. Vibration at takeoff is almost completely gone now. I'll see if it makes any difference at highway speeds later today.

 

What are the advantages to those? I replaced all the plastic 'nuts' on my tailgate with regular rivnuts, however some of the rivnuts didn't set evenly and as a result now some of my tailgate screws sit crooked. Would something like this help to fix the issue?

 

How much did the powdercoating run?

 

It was 70 for them and the hitch all together. 50$ minimum.

 

Thats pretty cheap really. Must have been an industrial or line shop?

 

I'm not sure if these would help in your case, the big difference is that the "blind" piece is much wider than a regular rivnut, less likely to pull thru, thus better for plastics. When I used them I had to be careful to center them in the bed grooves for fear that they would be crooked otherwise. . the pre bulbed part when squished spreads out more. The part above the surface is wider too. It's worth a try I suppose you can get them on Amazon just look for the ones with the minimum depth of .02"
