No issues here. It always charge my S6 (w/ case) ever since I bought the truck without any updates.

I added this Qi receiver from Amazon for my Note 4 with case and it works ok. It will charge 2-3% while using the phone for audio/data for my 20 min commute.

It works ok on smaller phones the larger phones like my Note 5 it will charge SLOWLY if battery is already over 50%. If under 50% it struggles to maintain current capacity. I have all the latest updates available for the phone. It also gets VERY hot when charging. Probably not great for phone components nor the battery

For mine to activate it has to be positioned with the home button toward the passenger side, all the way against the lip, and about a pinky finger width from the passenger side edge of the tray.

Other than being a little tricky to get connected to the wireless charger through my phone case, my S6 edge has always been able to wireless charge in the taco.

I added a QI charging coil to my android phone and it seems to charge as long as I have it in the correct location. I get the yellow light on the plate when charging and the phone indicates it sees the charge. Every once in a while the green and yellow lights on the charging plate will flash. I cannot find the docs in the manual. Anyone know what the flashing lights mean? From other web searches it seems the green on would be when the charge is done but I have not found anything about them both flashing.

I read that the flashing is when the pad gets too hot or when there is not enough connection ex. when a case is too thick

Thank you, It did not appear hot the last time it happened but the case is fairly thick and it is pretty fussy about location. The case is a two part silicone and plastic assembly. I might be able to move the coil between the layers and see if that helps.

Also, I did get a note that the information is on page 414 in the owners manual for anyone else looking for it.

I have a note 5 w/ Pelican case. it charges at most 3% on my 30min commute. phone has to be on the left side of pad, closer to the driver in order to get the charging signal to engage.

No issues with my S7 Edge charging. Although I hate the living crap out of this phone, cant wait to go back to iPhone when the 7 is released. S7 has been nothing but problems.

    The Qi charger sucks, imo.
I don't even acknowledge it any more.
    Total afterthought BS option.
Do it right or not at all, toyota.
BTW, I have a Qi charger on my nightstand that works great. Huh, how bout that?
