Brake caliper pin seized

    Hello all.One of the brake caliper pins have seized pretty good.Any tricks for getting it out without destroying too much?

    This sucks. I just went through this a couple months ago. I bent a couple nail sets trying to pound the pins out, and was eventually successful using a more stout bolt instead of a nail set. I sprayed the crap out of it with pb blaster, which I'm not convinced helped much at all. It was just a brute force effort, you really have to beat the hell out of it. Once I got one pin out, I used it to hammer and drive out the other pins. Just be careful, with enough pounding you may start to mushroom the ends of the pins a bit.
