    Hello all the Tacoma ppl.

I'm a newbie here on this forum but been reading post for past a month or so. Seem like lots of good discussion. So here is my question on Tacoma gurus.... Currently I drive 2013 VW Passat TDI for daily drive, Excellent MPG vehicle and I have no issue but with this diesel VW issue I think I'll turn in the car next couple of months. I'll need a daily driver, always 4WD truck guys but went to TDI due to cost of driving big truck (mostly gas price). always had Ford F-150 (total of 5 F-150 in past 10+ yr) including Raptor. The Raptor was the last F-150 I had love that truck but couldnt justified to drive as daily driver. So currently I'm looking at the Double cab Short bed 4WD TRD offroad. Never own Tacoma before but just wanted some of you all comments on this vehicle as daily driver. Comfort, MPG etc. The only thing I wish this truck had is height adjustment on the driver seat. I dont care about the electric seat but height adjustment would have been nice to have.
    Any input and/or thought.....

    thanks

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Have you test driven the Tacoma?

Keep in mind a lot of the guys who love their 2016's are out driving them and having fun on weekends, the forum tends to house the grouchy whiny bunches...

Welcome to TW and good luck with your decision. Comfort is relative but it works for me for DD. This will probably quickly turn into another 2nd gen vs. 3rd gen and MPG thread. Best bet is to look at the fuelly app for the real deal on MPG.

Love my taco, just the right size, decent on gas and fun to drive. Plenty comfy and more bells & whistles than I'll ever use.
