I think you'll more likely find a better price in TN than in FL, AL, GA, SC, NC (Southeast Toyota "SET"), or in MS, LA, AR, TX or OK (Gulf States Toyota "GST") where they'll charge you a cool $1500-$2000 just for the pleasure of doing business with them. They are the only 2 remaining distributorships left in the USA, and they are a true middleman. They'll add junk you dont want, then mark up prices. Toyota has tried getting out of the distributorship contracts but cant. They have successfully bought out all other distributorship. Google the history on them - pretty interesting read.

If a dealer is motivated and wants to do business with you at a price you want, then jump on it - wherever it is. But, Id check pricing in areas other than SET and GST for better pricing.

Good luck finding your truck, and as long as YOU are happy, then that is all that matters.

There are areas where there is little to no inventory especially if you want a specific model/color/options so invoice or even $500 over is not likely. Like a few people have already said, do your research for your area and be comfortable making the decision and then do it. Best of luck!

Those are the true listed invoices. No one but a few Hugh level managers at a dealership know what they really paid Toyota for the truck. It's not the invoice price, though. There is fluff and hold back
