I have no idea what it's worth, since it is a 2005 and over 10 years old.

I did a quick Google search and they range from $7K to $19K < this guy's dreaming.

I had a partner years ago in the Antique business who told me that a good rule of thumb was "Something is worth exactly as much as you can get someone to give you for it."
He didn't like "Price Guides" and the like.

That is very true. Its worth exactly what someone will pay.
I was hoping our American friends might chip in....I am right on the Michigan border. The stronger US dollar might make this a steal for someone....

 

Well I sold mine back in May, 2005 PreRunner DCLB, to some guys who shipped it to Africa for $7900 cad, and my truck had transmission replaced and it was still partially leaking, suspension was trashed and scratches all over the truck, plus some deep dents, spray paint, and many more issues... But I managed to sell it within 4-5 days, so you can ask more than 8000 I think for yours.

Thanks! Mine has a few war wounds, noteably some light pinstriping that I can buff off and the tailgate is...well.
Other than that, awesome truck, burns nothing, drips nothing, tracks straight as an arrow. I built it to explore, not be beat on, so its had a pretty mellow life. I may list it and see where it goes.

I actually sold it through Kijiji, had 3 buyers to visit me for a test drive before I sold it.

 

LOL, wow...sucks for that guy in the article. Seriously though, those people sending him threats are fucking idiots. Like he intentionally sold his truck to ISIS, lmao...give me a break. Some people are just too stupid for words.
