    Hello all,

Just did a 6112 kit in the front of my 12 DCSB TRD Off Road.. everything went fine, but driving it today I noticed this noise coming from the front left corner.. any thoughts?

Here is a link to a video of the noise. https://youtu.be/H0dEYPA-_LM

    Thanks in advance.

What was your procedure for tightening everything, did you loosen the LCA to frame or UCA to frame bolts at all?

Reason i ask is both of those connections (two lower lca to frame bolts, and stock UCA to frame bolt), as well as the lower shock mount need to be tightened AT RIDE HEIGHT.

    Nd,

No I didn't loosen the UCA or LCA. Only loosened the tie rods, sway bar, and ball joints. All torqued back to spec. As for the lower shock mount I will loosen and re torque today.

And the answer is: When the shop put my coil overs together they didn't line up the top hat rubber bushing to the spring. This cause the spring to not sit flat and the caused the inside of the spring to rub on the shock case. Also part of the outside of the spring was rubbing on the UCA.

Amazing how much work overlooking such a small detail can cause.
