Seems I can get a basic XM antenna for about 20 bucks,
I may just go though the trouble and mount it outside the third brake light and run it the hard way back to unit. I know from past experience the ease of getting it the wiring harness and grommet there would make it super easy to get the wire into it and regale it up, just like a factory install and would almost guarantee against any leakage. Other option is how to get the wires through the factory radio antenna area as I like the looks of the small pad I have seen in other installs there.

Heck I could also just be ghetto and stick it to the unused side of my TechDeck lol...

    Not sure just yet...

SO which is the XM plug and the GPS plug.

It seems I could source an OEM GPS plug and have the weather and traffic FWIW,

    Which plug circled is which???

    Just scored this, 19.95 shipped.

Plug looks good and it's an XM unit.

My eBay purchased antenna plug didn't work!

Researching which I need right now...

Instead of returning it I was able to Dremel the pink plastic plug off and just plug it straight in. It's pretty secure.

Turns out I am allowed a 2-month free trial as well. Wohoo!!!

Awesome! Great that it ended up fitting after a slight mod.
