Does anybody know if I'll be able to run 285/70/17 on 5100's all around with 877 coils??

Lift height has nothing to do with being able to fit bigger tires. You'll need to trim.

I am about five seconds away from buying 881 and 5100's, how's the ride quality? Not to stiff ??

Honestly quality of ride is really up to ones interpretation. I've been in lots of Tacos where the owner said his truck road like a caddy, it didn't at all to me. Also been in one where someone was complaining how stiff it was, truck felt great.

    Best of luck though

I am thinking about doing this. Did you lose any height?

Yes, but I wanted to. With my fully armored 4cyl 4wd access cab I had 4+" of lift. Literally no down travel, terrible alignment/ handling, felt like it had bricks instead.of suspension.

The 881s netted.maybe 1.75-2" of lift. They rode (I know very subjective)much nicer than with the stiff eibachs. It also articulated much easier.

Again, lift height doesn't have anything to do with being able to fit 33s. It will only benefit you at static ride height, once you start to drive/cycle the suspension it makes no difference.
