Hi new to this site but not to the toyota pick up.My wife and I have purchaced three trucks from toyota dealers. The first,a new ,92, standard cab ,four cylinder, five speed. The second,a used 2000,trd ,prerunner, v6 extended cab.The third is a 16 SR5 4WD .V6. 6SP auto access cab.
This is the last toyoya we will ever purchase.Dont get me wrong toyota makes a good product, the problem we have experienced is with the service dept after the sale .Each of these trucks bought at different dealers, yet the treatment we recieved from each of the service depts. was exactly the same. How disconnected must the corp managment be sending all this crap,"WELCOME TO THE TOYOTA FAMILY"then when you have a concern ,and return to the service dept. for answers they look at you like your an idiot.....I said I would never by a car at a dealer before.I should have known better. After you buy a new car, they got your money, they dont need you anymore. Why did
i think this time would be different???

some of this, a little of that
Welcome to TW , sorry to hear you're having a crappy dealer experience that seems to be the norm these days. It seems dealers, well companies in general used to try a lot harder to generate customer happiness. I don't know what problems your having although I could probably guess at a few. Check out the 3rd gen area (https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/3rd-gen-tacomas-2016.186/), there is a lot of info posted in there and there has been a solution from Toyota in the last week or so for shifting issues too! Good luck
