^^^ That's what I get every once in a while. Seems to be worse or exists on hot humid days. I've had clutch master cylinders when they start to take a dump exhibit this type of sound. It's not very noticeable but its there. If it's a master cylinder issue the clutch pedal will begin to stick and take more effort to push in the clutch.

I had the same thing happening recently ... persistent annoying squeak/creak with a little grit ... I called and made an appointment with the dealer. The next day I was taking out the floor mats to clean them and I moved the seat to access them. When I got back in the truck the creak in the clutch was gone. This leads me to believe the creak is related to the angle in which it is depressed, because as soon as my seat position changed it went away entirely. It had been constant (every shift) for a week, and I'm not sure if it was precipitated by me having moved it previously. I cancelled my appointment with the dealer and said I would monitor it until my next service.

Long story short, move your seat forward and see if that helps. I will update if the creak reoccurs.

    all tore up already
Had a "field technical supervisor" look at my truck because the pedal was creeky and dealer refused to acknowlege issue. He greased pivot bushing and sound is gone. I brought up tsb for 05-15 clutch pedals and was told 16's have upgraded tsb assembly. Pedal has been smooth since but its only been like a week

Here's mine from two weeks ago

Dealer said the tsb for 2nd gens was to replace the plastic master cylinder with a metal one and the 3rd generation already has the upgraded one. They greased things up down there and the sound is gone

I bought a 2nd gen 6 speed manual Tacoma in 2011 and it had the same squeak in the video. I sprayed white lithium grease on the pivot pin, return spring and plunger. I cycled the clutch pedal a few times and sprayed everything again. It never squeaked again in the 4 years I owned it. No trips to the dealership required.
