    powder coat will chip if you hit it too hard, then its a bitch to get fixed. I was planning on powder coating all my armor but decided to go with spray bed liner. Plan on doing the rear bumper tonight

    That is what I use and it seems to come off really easy like just from my feet or what the tire throws up. I haven't seen it like mine on many other sliders, they are starting to rust. I got them like early December and then re-sprayed in mid December. I need to do it again but I think I will strip all the paint properly etch, primer, liner, protectant.

    I would prime/paint then bedliner. Bedliner is meant to be applied over paint.

    Yea I will be much more willing to wheel harder with the sliders and better tires

    My girlfriend will most likely use them as a step too so im thinking texture would be nice.

    Sounds like a plan. Especially in areas where you're stepping on a lot. I hit my co2 tank bracket with rustoleum liner only as well and my tank has removed some of the liner from normal install and removal of my tank. For me it's an easy touch up and the areas that rub off is outta sight outta mind.
