I don't feel bad I offered to help him fix it many times. He got tired of it in his driveway

That's one hell of a deal and it looks great! It's probably more of the 2.7 just doesn't have the ass for 35's. 97 was also before Toyota regeared the manual trans for more power.

Yip, i also vote to loose the BL and keep the spacer lift till ya sas!

Maybe u already know this but with just tje soacer lift and 33, 12.5's youre gunna need to do a lil trimming on the pinch weld area most likely. Possibility its already been done though with those stupid wide 35's on there...

    Score on the truck, congrats!
I'd remove the body lift first then deal with the cheap spacer lift.

It's trimmed. Trust me. I was thinking of removing the body lift, then when I replaced the belts, seeing how easy it was to get to the tensioners, he easier access to the engine parts I may Keep it

Lol reaching things on the motor is plenty easy without that stinkin body lift.
Ha, yeah i kinda figured maybe it was already all cut up from running those huge tires..

The tires look like they are in good shape, so I would hurry and sell them, which would finance some of your other goals, increase some MPG (gains a few pennies at least), and give back some pep.

They are already spoken for. Giving away tires and selling wheels pretty cheap.

the stock ifs and some good coilovers will be more than enough on 33s imo. front ends on these trucks hold up better than pretty much anything made today.

    1) I prefer solid front axles
    2) it will be an enjoyable project
    3) I don't like ifs
    4) I believe solid axles are easier to maintain and fix then ifs and are more durable. Not that an ifs is not durable, just not as solid as an axle
