Also found an exhaust at URD it's an afe, and according to them they dyno tested 7hp and 14pd of torque on it. http://urdusa.com/store/Exhaust-&-H...haust,-2013+-Tacoma-2.7L-I4/product_info.html

Also @Nskcorona I would personally not recommend switching to electric fans, I've had them on my 4runner and not only did I not notice an ounce of difrences in power or acleration or throttle response the fans would often stay on after I had parked because they read they radiator was hot, so they would just keep going and drain my battery. Apparently there is a way round that, but you have to wire it into your ignition. All in all It was pain in my ass for nothing.

Spal electric fans, with a wiring harness from Ron Davis Radiators, would definitely cool the radiator more than stock. Relay wired in, and not wired into the ignition. Key off and they are off. They work extremely well, even in summer months. Mounting them would be the trick though.

@Dean2016 yea that's the same response I keep getting.. But the LCE website says that's the best bang for your buck because it takes away the hp used to turn the oem fan compared to the electric.. And yea I seen the afe exhaust and I'm still deciding on which one.. Because I want it to pair nicely with my LCE headers.. Plus I kinda don't want to sound like a civic lol

I know this thread is over a year old, but I’m thinking of the LCE header for my 2011 2.7 auto. Is there any truth to the need to relocate the dipstick??

Also, LCE recommends replacing header studs and nuts with the upgrade. Any tips on removing the old studs without breaking them? Soak them down first for a couple of days with a penetrant?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ken

Which studs do they recommend replacing them with? OEM, or aftermarket?

    From the LCE site:

    Header Stud Set

The factory exhaust manifold studs have a shoulder in the center that can interfere with proper header tightening. Our 10mm x 48mm long, heat treated and plated header mounting studs are stronger than stock.

    Kit Includes:
    • (8) Studs
    • (8) Mechanical locking nuts

NOTE: Torque to 33 Ft. Lbs.

Good. Might need to use a thread chaser, if the threaded holes are too tight.

Hey whats up guys, I saw tooter who was making the spacers has disappeared from tacoma world unfortunately. I bought an OEM intake manifold and CMM measured everything to ensure accuracy and made serveral of the spracers 2 inches thick. They offered in a kit in which ive made brackets for this to be a bolt on item, Let me know if anyone's is interest in a kits by private messaging me or just reply back to this post. im glad i can help continue on the tacoma manifold runner.
