Picked up my 2016 double cab Off-Road on Tuesday. My truck has a 7/2016 date on the VIN sticker in the door. I know the dealer just got it in. Is the "7" referred to as the build month? Any chance my late 2016 will be free of the issues other first release 2016s have? Through my searching here I found a bulletin dated 7/14/2106, so I doubt the dealer did that update to mine.

    Long shot I know.

In 1993 I had a 4banger, 5speed 4x4, single cab; never should have sold it. Yea I always say that after I tell people that. Spent year building Jeep XJs, TJs, and a JK. I couldn't see spending $47k on a new Rubicon so I thought I would give Toyota a try. So far I'm loving it.
