Which TOB? This is the absolute best TOB upgrade...

    http://urdusa.com/store/p1260519431/URD-FIX-U-Hydro-Bearing-Conversion-Kit-"The-FIX"/product_info.html

Despite the steeper price. As it completely removes the side loading. Which despite the better upgrade over stock, with the other TOB, the side loading remains, and has been reported many times of the return of the TOB squeak.

This is still a much better choice than the factory setup.

Mods are currently being changed .....
Interesting...How many people actually went the extra mile and did the hydro bearing conversion? Who has significant mileage on theirs? Curious what people are making of that setup.

Not sure on how to drop the trans but i do know that its recommended to replace your clutch while you're at it since youll have the trans out anyway, will save you from having to drop it again to do the clutch later on.

I have the dreaded TO bearing chirp as well for the last couple of months, trying to hold out for awhile so i can justify doing the clutch at the same time.
