Swapping a 2006 stock factory stereo head unit for a 2014 Bluetooth Touchscreen head unit

Does anyone know if this is possible to do? I am thinking of taking out the stock radio in my 06 and replacing it with a Bluetooth touchscreen from a 14 Taco. My current system is non-JBL. Do you know if it's possible to swap them out like that. Has anybody done it before? Thanks.

 

I'm interested in doing the same with my '06. Hopefully it works, if so let me know

Can be done, but the upper dash isn't the same on an early 2nd gen as it is on the later ones (2012-2015)

 

Yep, either you grind down the sides or you can buy members epa4wd
