I know everyone here swears by the Scan gauge, but I just ran across this interesting little device called "The Kiwi". It challenges you to get better MPG. It figures out how you drive over lets say....5 days...then it sets a reachable goal for you to obtain. Ex. You are getting 17 mpg from your taco...its sets your goal to 19 MPG.

And you have to do whatever it takes to reach the goal....maybe by coasting to stop lights, coasting down hills in neutral, turning you car off at drive thrus, and so on.

Seems like a neat little device. It gives you something to shoot for. Kinda makes a little game out it.

Not sure if this is the actual manufacturer or not, its just the first site I found with information on it...
