I've had it for around 2 months. I've used it on 4 trips so far this season.



It keeps the Girlfriend happy. I'm also one of those OCD type people who freak out if I don't know where everything is at any given moment so it's been great for us. Haha

 

My wife and I are very organized and one of the main reasons she doesn't like camping. I showed her your setup and her OCD-self loved it. We're headed out on a camping trip tomorrow morning so I won't be able to execute the Dewalt organizing just yet. I did pick up a few Action Packers and she really likes those, but they aren't as easy to organize.

Those with a dual battery setup, where can i tap into a 12v ignition source in the engine bay? I just need to connect that one wire and my isolator is good to go.

 

that is what i am trying to avoid. The second battery will have about 200w of solar hooked up to it in a few months so i dont think id have any draining issues

 

In the fuse block there is a green ignition wire. Only hot when truck is running, same wire that people tap for anytime fog lights.

What kind set up are you running? I am using the Blue Sea ML-ACR, looking for a place to hook up the brown wire.

 

Starting to focus on the FlipPac interior.

 

NVX brand 200amp isolator. super basic setup. Crom posted a link to a 12v ignition source a few posts up, not sure if that will work for your setup.

 

Based on feedback from others and what I've read, the brown wire isn't really necessary in our automotive application. I did not hook mine up and I know of several others who haven't either.

I signed up as a copilot for the Overland Challenge Series that's coming up in October. Should be an adventure if the team gets selected. We have am 80 series, LX450 (fancy 80 series), and an FJC. Sadly the taco will be staying home as I was called in late to this adventure.

No, but I'm pretty sure its hard to screw up a duff bag. I have an Eagle Creek large cargo bag that's mostly waterproof for a cheap and basic reference and I'm happy with it.
