20160720_200546.jpg Used a combination of all pro install instructions and hammer head offroad bumper install instruction and it managed to fit perfectly. Took off all the brackets right under the headlights and manage to have plenty of room for the headlight fillers and some:bananadance:. Didnt have to use washers as spacers even though it would only need one to clear the ac line. Didnt cut it to clear it i just grinded it down enough to clear it comfortably. Unfortunately was not able to install the bottom part due to one of the threads on my frame broke loose with a bolt stuck in it :bananadead: and yes I tried to color match the bumper figured I'd give it a try and if all went to hell I'd get it powder coated

I am bolted right against the frame in those pictures, but shimming the drivers side with 3 washers on each post helped solve it a little. I have since realized after helping others install one on an 06 that these bumper, however great quality, are for the 05-11 trucks and not for the 12-15. You can make them work but they were diff designed for those years.

I agree. I am having an extremely hard time getting my lower bracket mounted. It won't sit flush no matter how many spacers I use. I can't get it aligned right to fit all the bolts for the lower part.
And I had to remove all the mounting brackets under the head lights. It works, but I guess I got what I paid for. I can't complain. I still like it.

Just reem out the bolt holes and make it work. I had to modify my demello that I paid a fortune for. No big deal.

One thing I want to point out is on my 15 the bumper sits on top of the headlight lower mounting structure. This prevents you from having downward adjustment and thus prevents you from installing the under headlight trim peices. also it removes the lower grill mounts. When installed on a 05-11 it's perfectly cut around everything and has the full range of adjustment. Also it doesn't affect the mounting of the grill at all, It's totally meant for an 05-11. I wish I had taken pictures of both models to show the details. But I will say, this is a good bumpers for the money As long as you have the proper year. Sucks the seller wasn't honest about that.

    I'm keeping mine. :D

One thing that helped me install the lower bracket was to use the lower bumper end caps that bolted into the front/lower cross bar. I cut that end cap in half so it would fit behind the new lower bracket thingy.

So sounds like most of the 12-15's got a bumper for under $500.

I also stripped a sway bar bolt, rear passenger side one. Anyone know the thread size and pitch off the top of your head? I'll grab a tap from work and chase it and toss a new bolt in.

I refused to remove the braces below the headlights. Still need to pop the hood and shut it again to see if the grille needs trimmed as well. Pretty simple to modify yhe body pieces when you have OEM replacements already on hand.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had issues with the sway bar bolt. Don't know why, The nut on mine broke loose.

I drilled a small hole in the frame. Had a bunch of extra drive line nuts and bolts. Slid all that in and used the ol stick welder to tack the new nut down.

Had trouble with mine, but with some persuasion it went in and stayed. Bad Initial angle and impact gun kill threads lol

What do you mean got a bumper for under $500.
Cause I'm a '12 owner and definitely paid more than 500

Most of us were compensated for shipping damage and labor for fitment issues.

I don't know what everyone else received back, but I know I paid less than $500 when all was said and done.
