Mobtown Offroad has their rear plate bumper prototyped and ready to go. Here is the pics tacked up. We pulled the bumper back off to weld in, clean up and paint. Will get pics uploaded once painted.

The key features of the bumper are:

Outer Shell: 3/16" CNC Laser Cut and Formed Plate Steel
Shackle Points: 3/4" CNC Plasma Cut, pass through the bumper and wrapped around 2-1/2" heavy wall steel tubing for the strongest design on the market to date.
Hitch: Integrated into the bumper which allows the bumper to tie in to it for maximum strength. The hitch is up in the bumper and passes through where the license plate will be so the depature angle is not effected. The hitch will be built from 2-1/2" heavy wall steel tubing. It also is reinforced in the center with a formed plate and slots for trailer chains.
Attachment: 1/4" CNC Laser Cut and Formed Plate Steel. Not just a flat, plasma cut plate like most bumpers out there which isn't the best for side pulls. We added two bends on the plate, one goes under the chassis and bolts into the existing factory weld nuts.
Accessories: Flip Up License Plate Bracket, will use factory trailer plug and factory license plate lights.

Cost will believe will be high $700's bare metal. Weight I think is about 135-140lbs. She is a beast.

Certainly heavier than the stock one but honestly, not by much. The stock bumper with the factory hitch is no joke. I've taken it off and put it on alone a few times. It's every bit of 90 lbs.

Looks awesome. My favorite bumper we've designed so far.

I like it. Fits well with the body lines, everything looks nice and tight.

Not that I'm a 3G owner, but maybe an option for cutouts for flush backup lights?

Thanks, we can add cutouts for any lights that are requested.

    I like that you are sporting a 4cyl, 4x4. I have a DCSB 4 banger that I converted to 4wd.

Real nice. All of my Toyotas have been 4cyl & 4x4.

I really like how your bumper has an integrated receiver since my Tacoma did not come with a tow package. Will the factory trailer plug be located behind the face of the bumper?

Our bumper does, like the majority of the aftermarket bumpers do not work with factory hitches. We build our bumpers to have a hitch built into them. This increases ground clearance and departure angle. Our bumper will not be tow rated, cost a small fortune to get it certified. But we overbuild them so you should have no concerns trailering.

It will clip into a bracket that is attached to the top, inside of the bumper.
