    Nice rack! but I dont have a roof to put this on. If I were to mount this to my bed bars, the awning wouldnt serve a purpose. GLWS!

    How many are required to mount it (securely). I was hoping I could get away with one mount in the middle, but does it require two for that size?

    Also what mounts are they? basic, delux, or locking?

    The 4 gallon requires 2. They are the basic/standard mount on a universal mounting plate wit the extensions included. The extensions allow you to mount one on top of another.
