Can I buy the new stalk from Toyota for the 2016? You did a great job with the pictures and explanation. I asked Toyota and they said it could not be done.

You should be able to buy the stock from Toyota and just follow my steps. I always love how Toyota says it can't be done and I do it anyways and it works fine lol. Your welcome man, glad I could help ya out!

I will have an intermittent wiper stalk for sale out of my 2014 Tacoma as soon as my 16 arrives.

They told me that both that and cruise control couldn't be done on a gen 2, which has been doable for 10 years now. Not sure if it is dealership policy not to do them or if they really have no idea how common and easy these mods are.

Thanks moe2o4, looks easy to swap out from your video. Just a little concerned about the clips and breaking them. A few posts said they had to pull really hard to get it out.

It looks to be the same setup as a gen 2. Don't pull hard, you shouldn't have to. My clips came out easily. Just get a screwdriver, take your time, and make sure you are pushing the locks the correct direction.

Installed the intermittent wiper stalk in about 20 minutes. Works great. Thanks Moe for the Video on the installation.
