Thoughts on this price?

hey, wanted to reach out to the professionals,
Whatd do you guys think of this truck at this price?

 

Looks fair priced to me, check for service intervals and offer him 6, see what he says. Id buy it

 

That's cheap around here. This area people are selling their 97-99 trucks for that price.

 

Even here in the Midwest buying a working truck for around $4,000-$6,000 is a fair deal.

 

It's from New York, so make sure the frame is good!

 

Thanks for the quick replies. I called him but apparently he is a dealer who buys and sells cars. I am not comfortable buying from guys like that. Also, when asked about the frame he stated he heard it was repaired once but not replaced. That gave me the uneasy feeling so im off to look for others. Thanks!

 

maybe it was just sprayed and that's what he meant?

sounds a little low on the price so im leary of what you don't know but I would not walk away until I found a reason too because it could be a great deal but you HAVE TO get the vin and check on the frame warranty coverage and see what if anything was ever done to it.

FYI I got a great deal and paid $11,500 for my 04 prerunner with 115k miles so that kinda tells you where you are in price, I would "expect" yours to be priced around $9,000
