I've tried searching, and know this has been covered, but I can't come up with the magic words to find the answer. I installed some short LED lights bars in the turn signal location of my ARB bumper. They are on a switch, but are directly wired to hot, so they stay on if I forget to turn them off. What is the easiest place to get "accessory" power to them so they turn off with the ignition?

Fuse box. Use a multimeter and a friend to check individual fuses to find one on switch power. Once located, use a fuse tap/add-a-fuse. I'm sure someone here knows the what each fuse does, I find it's easier to just throw a meter on it and find out myself.

There is an access panel in front of your left knee. Open the door and lift it out. Behind it you will find the fuse box that is tied to the ignition switch. I used a fuse tap at the Number 4 fuse position to power my LED running lights. This is a 7.5amp fuse that powers the Shift lock system, outside rear view mirrors, audio system, and power outlets

You are at the ideal spot. This is my favorite place to tap into.

Just a friendly note, you tap a fuse is upside down. The bottom pin on the fuse panel is hot and the top gets jumped from the fuse.

With the tap a fuse, the bottom one works like the stock but the top section the lead side needs to be opposite of the hot pin.

The best way to test this to pull the top fuse and leave it the way it is, if the accessories still work it's upside down.

Thanks folks! I knew there was an easy way. Electrical stuff isn't my strong point.
