Couldn't stand looking at the clams, so I just had to take care of business. The clams compliment a Schlenkerla Rauchbier just fine. And that's after I ate a baker's dozen of Raw clams. Yea Baby!

Well we are talking from 7% to 30%, not 95% to 175% and it was the breeze that cooled it off.

So it was the motor in the AC that died, at 27 years young. Nothing open on the weekend in town and will hopefully have it replaced tomorrow Tuesday at the latest. 82 now and humidity down to 54%, low of 61 tonight. I can do this although not moving very fast right now, glad it didn't decide to die last week! Really heavy rains and T-storms Friday night and no leaks so getting on the roof and sealing all the vent flashings must have worked. Life is good. Be even better with some fresh clams though! Very nice.

My poor garden :( Planted the maters too late. Nothing setting on. Just too damn hot. Hopefully we'll get some late summer fall maters. Getting a few cumbers and squash but its pretty slim pickens.

Didn't plant anything this year, but it doesn't do very well when it's super hot out....

Finally figured out my issue with the ABS KILL SWITCH mod. It was supposed to be an easy mod that I did three weeks ago, but it DID NOT work. Today I took 1-1/2 hours and systematically tried to troubleshoot and it nearly killed me in the 90 degree heat today.

    Fix described here.

    Just a few LEDs...
Condenser fan motor or the blower motor in the air handler? Either way 27 years is pretty good life for any motor.

Good Monday morning, at least hope it is for everyone.

Condenser motor, yeah no complaints here on longevity. Although was hoping it was just the capacitor and be done with it by now. Really is time to replace everything but not a good time. Of course there never will be a good time.
