Same exact thing to me, I got so close two times. I used a super gnarly ratchet strap over the motor mount down to the crossmember tubes I had for the bumper and One bolt on the mount and still couldn't get it started ripping the strap.

@Bonzen motor mounts went in like a champ. Few hours at tops:anonymous: yea few extra pennies but well worth it. And his trans mounts were 15 min tops. If you have a manual.

Did you use the original motor aligning block? The metal piece that goes over the motor original motor mount?
I finally got it and drives now but its so tight in there its super solid and I got a lot of vibes.

I purchased 120ft for my first gen. It was enough.

Im Not sure what the 2015s look like excatly but i just did my 2001 by measuring the tube that goes in the actual gas rubber tubing and they fit nicely heres a pic. i think this is what your talking about. mine were 1" and 1/4" for reference

let me know who does yours cause i wanted to go for the same thing so i welded on tabs and bought ABS Plastic cut it all out and it was pretty sick but as soon as it got hot out the plastic expanded and warped so it looked like shit up close. I was thinking of trying some sort of black sheet metal i think it would look bad ass!
ps i know my welds are shit haah i just got a welder and didnt know wtf i was doing

Either you got the wrong plastic or the way it's mounted caused it to warp. If it's 1/8" thick and more than likely Kydex and I t will warp. The 1/4" abs plastics seem to do better.

Also if the plastic has any gap between it and your tube it will warp. I've been working in the desert in 120+ degree heat with zero warp, but I started using different tabs that allowed zero gap between the main hoop and the plastic. Unless you modified them, the style tabs you're using put the plastic Atleast an 1/8" off the tube.

I'd also put the mounts a little closer together. The distance In between bolts isn't helping your cause either

On the rear of mine I used fiber reinforced 1/4" rubber, since I scrape the ass on the ground all the time
