Wondering if anyone is running this set up with a small 1-3 inch lift and what if any trimming is necessary. Hoping the Pro wheel backspacing would allow for something a bit larger. Just ordered the wheels from a post here and looking for tire suggestions. On a budget. Thanks

Tons and tons of people running that setup. Trimming is required. Varies from person to person.

As for the tires, it depends on what your terrain is. Lots and lots of members recommend K02, but it may be a bit much if you're on a budget.

I've seen people who have done this and I'm sure they'll chime in. I know it does require a lift, but I'm not sure if there's any CMC involved, trimming is I think.

285 is pretty much the max you want to go on these though as they are 17x7's so not the widest thing out there. But it'll work just fine, lots of T4R guys with that combo I'm sure.

Trimming is always required when going up in tire size. Unless you lift it and never flex the suspension. Once OffRoad or even going up a driveway, the suspension will give in and the tire will rub. Generally with 33"s you'll want to CMC if you OffRoad and cycle the suspension.

Check out the general grabber at2s. They're aggressive, and way cheaper than the KO2s

When you get them mounted and on, please chime in and report your results. I'm looking to do the same, if my Taco ever shows up.

Like them a lot..almost exact same size as the 265/75/16 KO2 did the 5100s at 1.75 and 1" block rear this past weekend

Keep us posted on how you like the pizza cutters. I have a line on a few sets of nearly new pull offs. Thanks in advance.

New on here and used this info to purchase tires for the 17” T4R wheels I had already purchased. Truck was only a year old and 11k miles when I bought it so I was kinda scared to mess with suspension at least until factory warranty runs out so I wanted taller if possible and slightly narrower to compensate for the offset of the SEMA whee vs. the stock OR 16” wheel. I went with the Cooper ST Maxx in a 255/75/17 for only $540 on eBay when all the other tire brands like BFG & Nitto in 265/70/17 were $800-$900 or more... anyways, just figured I’d share how it turned out for my first post as a member on here.62674710-1F85-4062-886C-B401345B32AD.jpg
