Woundering if anyone can answer. I have an 87 toyota 4x4 pickup, 2.5" lift with 31s. I want to put 33s on but no sure if I would need to Re gear or not. If so what would be the best gearing? I don't do a lot of mud/crawling only when need to. I do drive hwy.

4.88 gears, marlin crawler, 4" lift, lockers front and rear,33x10.5 swampers, header, u-bolt flip kit, relocated shocks in rear, walker muffler, pinion e-brake conversion,9000 ramsey winch.
I had an 84 that I had 10.50x33's on. I was running 4.88 gears with the 4 cyl. Worked quite well for me.
