Forgot to take pics of my jobs this week, was so dang hot!! Also had to weld on a Chain guide on the swingarm of a dirtbike the guy broke off and today I finished the rear portion of the rusted 1st gen, had to cut all the U-bolts and front Spring eye bolts off to get the rear leafs removed, but got it handed.

Now I just need to finish up that 3.4 motor that I am waiting on gaskets still and then a bunch of fab work next week for a little change of pace. I always get quite the variety of stuff to do.

Dang should have taken pics of all the stuff, everybody loves pics! Me included.

I'm stoked to have found this thread. It looks like your work speaks volumes about you, Jason. I recently had a family associated shop (in-laws) do a front lift (Icon) along with Icon UCA's on my 16 TRD Sport DCLB. I was talked out of getting an AAL pack for the rear (stupid decision on my part) and now it's looking way too Bro Dozer for my liking. Needless to say, the shop hasn't returned any of my calls for installing the AAL for the rear to level it out:jerkoff:

I was thinking about picking up an Icon AAL pack and scheduling some work with you. Weekdays are my weekend (Wed/Thurs) and it looks like that is what you prefer for doing work.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Weird, they didnt want to do an AAL. thats odd, first I have heard of that! Its ALWAYS a good idea to do that as a matter of fact I have never done one without! I can take care of it for you I think I should be able to do it one of those days this week if you have the time. I will PM you my info.

I installed a snorkel into a 1st gen this morning, turned out great although those dang nuts and washers can be difficult to get to back behind the fender when doing the final tightening! Just takes some time and trying to fish out the nuts and washers when you drop them into the inner fender, haha.

Hey, Jason. First, the crossbars you welded on my bed rack are holding up great! Second, can you do coilover rebuilds? I'm looking to get a newer (longer length and higher spring rate) springs onto my ICONs and at the same time get them rebuilt (the driver's side has been leaking for a while now).

I have done Kings and Fox shocks but haven't done the Icons, I cant be 100% sure since I dont have experience with those. And they also used some proprietary nitro filler plugs on some of them. Do they have schraeder valves on them or some flat rubber piece where one should be? Just to see if I can even recharge it. Let me know and Ill look into it and see if I can knock them out for you!

Yes, If you get a pre-bent weld-together type kit it would save a substantial amount of money, so I would recommend that route, building a full custom one will not be cheap, but it can be done. Even the pre-bent ones take quite a bit of fitting to get perfect but I can do it.

I have some time for you, and I am in Vista so it should be pretty convenient, shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time to get it installed or I can help you figure out what I would recommend for parts if that helps.

Thanks for your business Greg! Always good to see you two, let me know if and when you have time and I can do that back up camera relocation for you.

Ok I have some pics, but should have taken more, I just get into work mode and make a terrible photographer! Haha

First pic is NON work related, we all gotta have fun! Here is a section of trail in Arizona that I like to ride, a lot steeper than it looks in the photo! And off camber to boot with about 10 small trails branching out after the top of the first hill, I still haven't been able to cut a good line after that because I keep hitting rocks that reroute me and I gotta stay on the gas so I just make it happen and STAY ON THE GAS!

    image.jpg

Here's the Hidden winch setup from Pelfreybuilt that I installed last week, this pic shows the small brackets that relocate the P/S cooler rearward for more clearance
    image.jpg

Here is a shot of the setup without the bumper during install (you will remove the discard the stock crash bar)
    image.jpg

A pic of the finished product, pretty awesome having a full sized winch behind a fully stock looking front bumper, keeping it looking unmodified and saving money if you dont want/need a bumber.

I replaced front and rear stock 3rd members with a pair of ECGS pre-assembled units equipped with ARB lockers with 4.56 ratios front and rear. Turned the truck into a Hot Rod! Still need to install the OBA system with air tank and gauges, Ill be sure to get pictures!

Pelfreybuilt skids, has pretty much the whole catalog, lol. good stuff!
And I also relocated his back up camera due to the addition of the swing out style rear bumper.

I also did a rear locker (ARB) install, and took a ton of pics of the process. I will post them up tonight.
