Those are just called 1/2" straight fittings. I have Add1 oil catch can. The one you have is prone to leak or Crack in time due to the poor craftsmanship of those fittings. It's been documented through out the Internet.

2+ years and not one problem. I also didn't use their hose either. I just went to auto zone and got some 3/8" rubber fuel line hoses.

Or this one in closed loop because the one with the filter will cause a vacuum leak right??image.jpg

For our trucks this is the one you want not the other one with the vented filter. That one with the filter will cause the CEL aka check engine light to go on.

I'd also like to run blue hoses to it. Anyone have any recommendations?

Just dont get blue hoses that are transparent in any way. The layer of oil in them just turns them brown/green. Needs to probably be like the black braided fuel hose, but with a blue outer layer if that is your goal.

Its just an idea. I know i can't do stainless braided lines with rubber inners, no way to connect them to the intake.

So i was just figuring blue rubber hoses. I know to stay away from the thin silicone stuff.

The catch can will likely be black or brushed aluminum

Samco Sport silicone hose or Eaton/Aeroquip blue socketless hose. I have the Eaton.

I've heard the samco name thrown around a lot in the motorcycle world. They've got good stuff.

What do you think of that catch can i linked? You know i trust your opinion Mark

They have some of the most premier silicone hoses in the automotive industry. Used on many a racecar.

I have seen quite a few people use that brand can. As long as it doesn't leak, can be mounted easily enough, and drained easily enough, then it is good to go.

That one seems pretty nice in that has an option to customize. I wonder if they can build one with a plug and play mount to the open bolt holes on the inside of fender so don't have to fab up a bracket hmmmmm....

Since they have the customizable option I wonder if they would send pics of the guts. Other ones like from Newegg or ebay / other resellers good luck seeing inside it....,
