I have a lot of wind noise on my 3rd gen SR5. Mostly the front driver and passenger. My old 2005 Tacoma has nowhere the amount of wind noise like this truck. Anybody have this issue and got it fixed? The wind seals look fine. Its really bad on the freeway.

My friend had the same experience on a Subaru, an she said it turned out the factory put the the rear door seals on the front. I don't know its worth a trip to the stealership to have it checked out.

Close your vents by pressing the recirculation button.

There's a fix if it is coming from the door seals but I can't find the link. It's basically just like 3/8 rubber tubing run around the seal. From what I remember people were saying it helped.

SR5 DC here. Same issue with mine. It's been bugging me lately. Sounds like the door seal (or maybe the window seal?) near my left ear is not snug enough and sounds exposed to loud wind at speeds over around 50 mph. If you decide how to approach this problem, please update here so I can do the same.

What are they going to do? Replace it with another set of seals that does the same thing? All of them do it, it's another one of those unfortunate quirks of the truck.

Everytime I drive someone who hasn't been in my truck before they try to roll up the window when we are on the highway saying they thought it wasnt closed all the way.

I don't know what they going to do with it but it should be their problem. We paid a lot of money for these trucks and that includes warranty.
I'm not trying to be smart azz here, but I would bother dealer with it.
    That is just me though.

Not all! Quiet as a mouse here. Those that would have you believe that everyone has these "unfortunate quirks" are in fact (though they won't admit it) in the minority.

Mine does it as well. I had it at the dealer the other day and since I had branch scratches down the side of the truck they blamed it on that. I do recall reading something around here about a 3/8" piece of rubber glued in place or something to the nature. It got old quickly on our 3-1/2 hour trip to Rockport a few weeks back.
