Yeah tell me about it. Not sure how branches on the side of the truck would effect weather striping that's protected by the door. Service Rep couldn't answer that one either, just informed me they couldn't do anything because his lead tech told him so....

You should have gotten a Red one. I heard all the White ones came with the wind noise standard.

....Reading excuses like this"branche scratches" make me very glad that I have the dealership with the service dept near me that I have been using since the mid 80"s.This excuse is absurd, but sounds like there are dealers all over the country with this type of attitude.I consider myself fortunate.

I had to get some work done on the wife's Highlander and we rented a 2016 Nissan Rogue, holy shit that thing is loud wind noise, seats rattling road noise we had to talk with raised voices just to hear each other. My Taco sounds like a Cadillac compared to that I will take my slight wind noise.

Only issue I have with mine at 7K miles is cross headwind howl. Looks like 2.5 rubber tubing to the rescue

Bump -- I'm getting excessive wind noise from the Passenger Side it sounds like the window is cracked or as if the door was not shut all of the way. Has anyone else experienced this? I am having a hard time sorting out those who are complaining of Wind Noise (The Kazoo Sound) versus the Wind Noise I described in my first sentence.

    Truck is TRD OR DCSB

That's what I have. And I know I'm not crazy or over exaggerating because multiple passengers ive had in the truck, on the freeway, have tried to further roll up the window. I've asked each one what happened and they all responded "oh nothing, it just sounds like the window isnt closed all the way"

This issue is on the bottom of my list though compared to the other stuff going on.

OK so you have not reported this to the dealer yet? Wondering if Toyota is aware of this particular problem. Must be an issue with the door seals?

I have not, but I have called corporate about it. It is definitely door seals. I get a single drop or two of water that comes through the seal into the cabin every now and then after a high pressure car wash. That has never happened on another vehicle for me, so it definitely seems like a seal issue with those two things combined (air and water)

Great :rolleyes: another issue to add to my list. Well at least the leafs aren't squeaking anymore.

Sure hope the problems on this truck don't become a game of Whack-A-Mole
