Hello. Just became a new Tacoma owner and thought I would introduce myself here for my obligatory first post. Hoping to learn a lot from this community about the truck.

Just bought my first Tacoma a little over a week ago and loving it so far. My first new vehicle in 17 years so it was a big purchase for me. Came from owning a Nissan Xterra for all 17 of those prior years. It was a great SUV for me in all facets but I have admired the Tacoma for a long time now. Thought I would give truck life a try this time around and like I said so far my kid and I are loving it!

Got a great deal on a 2016 TRD Off Road Double Cab Long Bed in Magnetic Grey and just love how it looks and drives. At my age now I don't really plan on modding it much like I did to my Xterra. Those days are over for me but love watching the builds that others do. For me I feel the Tacoma TRD Off Road stock is more than setup enough for my outdoor uses. Will put a tonneau cover on it in the next 6 months and will pick up some rock sliders down the line for off-roading, but other than that I don't plan on changing a thing. Will just enjoy her for what she is and the great capability she already has built in.

Here are a few pics when I brought her home last weekend. Cleanest she will ever be so had to document it. Hope to get at least another 17 years out of her like my last vehicle. Let the fun begin. Take care every one.

Thank you every one for the warm welcome. Already starting to read through some of the 2016 threads and learning a bunch. Soooooooo much to cover. Can't wait to get mine out on the trail.
